Important Information

Seniors,

Scholarship season has begun. All scholarship opportunities will be communicated to you through Remind; therefore, it is imperative that you join the Class of 2023's Remind group.

Plan ahead for completing scholarship applications by doing the following:

  • asking in advance for letters of recommendation to attach to applications

  • creating a resume of your high school career to attach to applications. Some will ask for a resume. You can download the resume template found on this site under College Guidance. The pdf fillable resume creates a handsome resume.

  • writing the required essay and asking an English teacher or Mrs. Ray to edit and revise so that you have an essay that addresses the topic and is grammatically and mechanically correct.

  • getting a copy of your transcript through the first semester of your senior year. You can make copies to attach unless the application specifically asks for an official transcript in an envelope from the registrar.

  • getting a head shot photo. A few applications will ask for a photo. Make certain it is an appropriate photo.
